The Year 12 Student Leadership Team recently held a charity event in support of Beyond Blue, a mental health foundation that provides assistance programs for individuals who suffer from depression, anxiety disorders and other mental illnesses. We are proud to announce that their gold coin mufti day generated over $870 for Beyond Blue!
Secondary students also had the opportunity to listen to renowned motivational speaker Matt Caruana (pictured). Mr Caruana shared his journey of struggling with mental illness and his recovery and determination to live as a paraplegic.
Overall, the day proved to be a tremendous success for both Redfield and Beyond Blue, and the Year 12 Leadership Team remain optimistic about holding similar events in the near future to support the foundation further.
